The Doctors
Dr. Dave Ziegler & Dr. Chap Leffingwell

Dr. Dave Ziegler is a 1981 graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, serves as an associate clinical instructor for two colleges of optometry and instructs fourth year optometry students at his office. He serves on advisory panels to some of the top eyecare companies, participates in clinical research for contact lens and pharmaceutical companies and lectures internationally on a variety of eye care topics. He and his partner, Dr. Leffingwell, are the eye care providers for the Milwaukee Bucks, Milwaukee Wave, Milwaukee Rampage, and the Colavita Cycling Team.

Dr. Ziegler, his wife, Barb and their four children Kristen, Lauren, Adam and Aaron enjoy a variety of different sports and outdoor activities. They also spend time camping in Door County and gardening. Dr Ziegler spends his spare time riding his road bike and participating in medical missions to Third World Countries like the Phillipines to provide free eyecare and glasses to the poor.

Dr. Chap Leffingwell is a 1989 graduate of the Illinois College of
Optometry and is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He is a member of the American and Wisconsin Optometric Associations and was named the 1998 Wisconsin Young Optometrist of the Year. He has lectured on a variety of eye care topics and has participated in contact lens, pharmaceutical and laser eye clinical investigations. In addition to administrative activities with the Wisconsin Optometric Association, he has been appointed to national advisory panels for laser vision and managed care organizations.

Outside the workplace, Dr. Leffingwell enjoys his time with his wife Tera and their children, Lauren and CJ. He also enjoys sports activities such as golfing, fishing and biking.
